How Do I Play With Others

Executive Golf gives you several ways to compete, meet players, and keep improving. Pick the mode that fits the kind of round you want.

Match Play

Challenge any player to a 1 vs 1 face-off on any course of your choosing. Issue the challenge by visiting any player profile and pressing the Match Play button.

Quick Match

Get matched with a random player and head straight into a 1 vs 1 game. Quick Matches are a great way to find new friends to play with.

Enter a Quick Match by navigating to the Tournament menu and pressing Quick Match.

Tournaments

A highly competitive game mode for those seeking a greater challenge. Tournaments are hosted by Executive Golf or players with Gold Membership. Players can join any tournament they fulfill the requirement for.

Tournaments are played over several rounds. A tournament typically consists of 1 to 4 rounds. Each round is scored based on the Scoring Format of that specific tournament; Stroke Play or Handicap Stableford. Stableford takes handicap into consideration making it more beginner friendly whereas Stroke Play is aimed towards end-game players.

The duration of rounds, number of tries per round, courses and prizing structure vary. Check each tournament's details.

The prize pool of a tournament is the total sum of all entry fees plus an optional additional prize provided by the organizer.

Leaderboards

All Ranked sessions (Ranked Play, Weekly Course, Tournaments) are scored in Global and Community leaderboards. Compete against players around the world and hone your skills to rise to the top.

Weekly Course

Weekly competition between all players to play a round with the best possible score on the weekly course.

Players can enter Weekly Course once per day. Each week a player has 3 additional retries at the cost of 100VC each.

There are two separate leaderboards; Strokes and Points. At the end of the week results are tallied and prizes are granted to all participating players in the form of VC and CXP. Participants will also receive Medals based on their placement which are displayed on their profile.

League

League is a weekly competition between groups of 20 players of similar skill level. Playing any game mode earns you League Points. Players start in Division 10 and play to advance to Division 1. League Points are tallied at the end of the week. The top players of each group advance to a higher division. The bottom players are demoted to a lower division. The placement in the group also grants rewards in the form of VC and CXP. Higher divisions receive larger rewards.

When a new week starts new groups are formed, giving players a chance to compete against new rivals.

Ranked Play

Ranked Play allows for unlimited play on any unlocked course. This game mode is perfect for learning the courses without the pressure of a tournament or the Weekly Course.

Your First Society

Start in The Academy

After the tutorial, every new player lands in The Academy: beginner chat, filtered leaderboards, and a lower-pressure place to learn before joining the wider competition.

Beginner chat with other new players and developers.
Academy leaderboards keep early competition fair.
Graduate into the wider community at Career level 15.

Keep It About the Game

Discuss shots, strategy, updates, and opinions. Do not turn disagreements into personal abuse, pile-ons, or harassment.

Keep Chat Reasonable

Some personality is fine. Hate speech, threats, graphic abuse, and constant profanity are not.

Report Problems Clearly

When something is broken or frustrating, explain what happened, what you expected, and why it affected the round.

No Spam, Scams, or Leaks

Do not flood chats, impersonate people, push scams, or post leaks and private material.

Respect Privacy

Do not share another player’s real-world personal information, private messages, or account details.

Help New Players

Competitive play is welcome. Gatekeeping is not. Help new golfers learn the game.
